Where are AFA's bylaws and governance manual?
AFA's official Governing Documents page links its bylaws, governance manual, 2021–2026 strategic plan and articles of incorporation. Start with that page for the current document links. Its bylaws and manual links may require access through AFA's document host; AFA Connect does not publish or interpret restricted copies. The strategic plan is dated and should not be assumed to govern a later planning cycle.

Who serves on the Board?
AFA publishes the current Board of Directors roster. Our source-dated Board guide separates the official roster from announced election results when a transition has not yet appeared on AFA's live roster. For questions about a current office or seat, verify the live AFA list. The professional staff directory is separate from the elected and appointed Board.
What is the latest annual report?
At this review, AFA's Annual Report page links its 2025 Annual Report. The same page links 2023 and 2022 Form 990 filings under Public Financials. Those are different documents: an annual report describes the Association's work, while a Form 990 is a public tax filing. Follow AFA's live report page for the latest report and filing links rather than treating an older year as current.
Where can members follow decisions?
AFA's councils and committees pages list their current participants and roles. Our Field and Education Councils guide explains the two council paths and points to AFA's live roster. Our National Convention guide explains the completed 2026 delegate-voting cycle and links AFA’s current Convention page for future meeting information and election guidance. For Chapter operations, use our Field Leader Resources guide and AFA's live field library. These sources serve different purposes; a council list is not a substitute for bylaws or an official Board roster.
