AFA Memorial to Memorial Ride: cycling for wounded Airmen and Guardians

The Air Force Cycling Team's annual ride raises support for AFA's Wounded Airmen & Guardians Program. Find the dated 2026 result and the official path for future ride details.

What is the Memorial to Memorial Ride?

Memorial to Memorial, often called M2M, is an annual fundraising ride by the U.S. Air Force Cycling Team in collaboration with the Air & Space Forces Association. AFA says the partnership began in 2022. Riders raise money for AFA's Wounded Airmen & Guardians Program, which supports eligible wounded, ill or injured service members and their caregivers. The ride is a fundraising activity, not a separate application for assistance.

Where did the 2026 ride go?

The Cycling Team’s 2026 ride record lists September 10–13, 2026 for a roughly 350-mile route from the Wright Brothers National Memorial in North Carolina to the Air Force Memorial near Washington, D.C. That itinerary describes the completed 2026 event; it is not a published route or schedule for a later ride.

What did the 2026 ride accomplish?

On its official ride page, AFA reports that M2M riders exceeded their $110,000 fundraising goal for 2026. The same page says the rides have raised more than $220,000 since 2022. These are AFA's published figures reviewed October 12, 2026; they may rise after later campaigns or reporting.

How does ride support reach people?

AFA connects the funds to its Wounded Airmen & Guardians work, including financial grants, travel assistance and quality-of-life support. Our program guide explains the distinct assistance paths and links to AFA's current eligibility and referral instructions. A participant or donor should not treat a fundraising total as a promise that an individual request will be approved.

How can I ride or support the effort?

Start with AFA's live M2M page for ride-specific support and its link to the U.S. Air Force Cycling Team’s ride page for participation information. The source reviewed here does not announce the next ride date, route, registration terms or a new fundraising goal. Confirm those details with the organizers before planning travel. The Cycling Team’s page distinguishes a contribution to the ride from a contribution directly to AFA’s Wounded Airmen & Guardians Program; check the selected destination before paying. For broader AFA giving options, use our donation guide; AFA handles its contributions through official channels.
