A Celebration of United Forces & Families

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, AFA was proud to host A Celebration of United Forces & Families on May 30, 2023. The hybrid event celebrated the unique and consistently evolving roles of military spouses, and was the first hybrid event hosted by AFA’s United Forces & Families (F2) program.

The first session was a special fireside chat with CSAF Spouse Mrs. Sharene Brown and CSO Spouse Mrs. Jennifer Saltzman who shared their milspouse experiences. The second panel highlighted the diversity of personal milspouse stories by featuring Aaron Evenson, Nicole Murray, and Kirstin Navaroli. Both sessions were moderated by F2 Chair Lyndsey Akers.
